Brides Have Their Cake and Couture, Too: SoNo Wedding Design Studio Launches Bridal Dress Collection
Norwalk, CT (PRWEB) January 7, 2008 -- Some might say you plan a wedding around a color scheme, but any event stylist worth their weight in canapés knows that you plan a wedding around the dress. It's with this in mind that full-service event planning and design studio, Traci Romano Events, will begin offering its brides a selection of couture wedding dresses by Amy Kuschel, Simone Carvalli, Liancarlo, Thread, and Lynn Lugo at their South Norwalk, CT (SoNo for those in the "know") boutique, starting January 21.
"I've always found that wardrobe selection can be a stumbling block in the design process," explains Traci Romano, founder of Traci Romano Events. "That's why we offered bridesmaids dresses from the beginning, as a way to help brides envision their wedding style. It wasn't long before there was a battle cry for bridal gowns!"
In response to their pleas, Traci Romano began converting the bridesmaid collections already available at their salon into gowns. As demand continued to grow, she hired a seamstress to create some custom pieces. Ultimately, with enthusiasm for the wedding dresses mounting, Romano decided to add full lines. Collaboration at its best, the resulting collection is largely comprised of the designers du jour suggested by brides visiting the studio.
Ranging in price from $400 to upwards of $5,000, the wedding dresses carried by the boutique at Traci Romano Events' Salon, represent a range of styles -- from garden party to grand ballroom to Grand Caymen getaway nuptials. With wedding dress in hand, stumbling block out of the way, Traci Romano Events helps brides focus on all the other "little" details of their big day.
Turning the traditional notion of wedding planning and design on its pearl-studded ear, Traci Romano Events offers its brides a truly comprehensive approach to planning the biggest and best party of a gal's life. Starting with their bridal salon, which includes wedding gowns, bridal party attire and all the veils, baubles and accoutrement's a bride could dream of, the studio also offers the "not-so-usual usual" concierge treatment when it comes to setting the mood, picking the menu and spreading the word. The first of its kind in the area, Traci Romano Events also offers a Vendor Research Gallery, a complimentary service that allows couples to peruse an exclusive compilation of the best local vendors so they can find the perfect caterer/band/florist/etc. for their wedding style. The Traci Romano Events salon also provides brides, grooms, and even mothers-in-laws with a comfortable space in which to evaluate a caterer's culinary prowess, a photographer's photographic chops, or a band's danceability.
